Sunsets and Roses || Axel X Reader || Chapter 2

You sat in the ice cream shop, your jacket laying on your legs. The cool breeze from the air conditioning caressed your skin. Roxas stood at the counter ordering. Kairi sat beside you, by the window. The silver haired boy sat in front of her and the red head in front of you.

"Guys, let's go to the beach later" Kairi suggested, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

"It's a beautiful day for it." You said, liking the idea.

"Totally!" Shouted Roxas, returning with everyone's ice cream.

"The beach does sound good. I'll let Sora and the others know"

"Riku, eat your ice cream first, before it melts" Kairi giggled as it already began to melt.

You giggled a long with her as you enjoyed your sea salt ice cream.

"Demyx!" You shouted, giggling as the young blonde splashed you with water.

"Come on [Y/N]! The water is nice!"

"Last one in is a rotten egg!"  Sora yelled, his famous cheeky smile planted firmly on his face as he ran towards the water.

Everyone quickly ran to the water, leaving you, Axel and Saïx the only ones on the beach. Laugher filled the air as they enjoyed their time together. Axel stood beside you, a mischievous grin on his face. You glance over at the red head, looking at him curiously.

"[Y/N], let's go swimming" he whispered into your ear as he picked you up bridal style and ran towards the water, leaving Saïx standing there with an annoyed expression on his face.

Your face turned crimson at his actions and mumbled a few insults before hitting the water. Axel's hand found it's way around your waist and pulled you back up to the surface with him. A grin still on his face, you glanced at him and smirked. You held onto his shoulders and jumped up pushing him under, quickly swimming away.

"Oi! [Y/N]!" He growled playfully as he emerged. You giggled finding safety behind Roxas.
